Hi, I’m Jenelyn. I help service-based businesses improve their online visibility, strengthen their presence on Google, and build sustainable organic growth through strategic SEO.But my journey into SEO didn’t begin with search engines, keywords, or websites. It began with a decision about the kind of life I wanted to build for my family.
Before becoming an SEO Specialist, I worked in the corporate banking industry as a recruiter for a local bank in the Philippines.
After I became a mother, I made one of the most important—and difficult—decisions of my career:
I chose not to return to my corporate job after maternity leave.I wanted to be present for my daughter—to care for her, guide her, and witness the little moments I knew I could never get back.
At the time, I didn’t have another job waiting for me.
There was no perfectly mapped-out career plan or certainty about what would come next. I simply trusted that there had to be another path—one that would allow me to continue growing professionally, contribute to my family, and still be present for the people who mattered most.
Leaving the corporate world became the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
As I explored opportunities to work and build a career online, I became interested in the digital space and eventually discovered Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
What drew me to SEO was that it combined many things I naturally valued: research, strategy, understanding people, solving problems, and continuous learning.
SEO wasn’t simply about putting keywords on a website.
I began to understand how businesses could use search engines to connect with people who were already looking for their products, services, or expertise.
The more I learned, the more interested I became in understanding how websites could be improved to become more visible, useful, and relevant in search.
That curiosity gradually developed into a new professional direction.
Building My Career as an SEO Specialist
I continued developing my knowledge of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, technical SEO, local SEO, content optimization, and SEO strategy.
But one lesson became increasingly important to me:
Good SEO should serve people first.
A website shouldn’t rank simply for the sake of ranking. It should help the right people discover a business, understand what it offers, trust what they find, and confidently take the next step.
That belief now shapes the way I approach every SEO project.
Today, as an SEO Specialist, I help service-based businesses improve their Google visibility, organic search presence, website content, and SEO foundations through practical and sustainable strategies.
SEO With Purpose
Becoming an SEO Specialist gave me the opportunity to build a career around something I genuinely enjoy while creating the flexibility that first motivated me to leave corporate life.
My journey started with wanting to be more present for my daughter.
It grew into a career built around strategy, learning, helping businesses, and creating sustainable online visibility.
And that experience continues to shape how I approach my work today.
I believe SEO should be clear, purposeful, ethical, and connected to real business goals.
My goal is simple:
Help businesses become easier to find, easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to choose.
Bringing My Corporate Experience With Me
Although my career changed, I didn’t leave everything from the corporate world behind.
Working as a recruiter taught me how important it is to listen, communicate clearly, understand people, evaluate needs, stay organized, and build professional relationships.
Those skills continue to influence how I work today.
Before recommending an SEO strategy, I want to understand the business behind the website:
Who are you trying to reach?
What problems do your customers need solved?
What services matter most to your business?
What are people searching for?
And how can your website become more useful, visible, and trustworthy to them?
Because effective SEO begins with understanding—not simply optimizing.
